Adar Gandelsman (Hebrew: Adr Gndlsmn, born 5 December 1997) is an Israeli model and beauty pageant winner. She was the first runner-up in Miss Israel 2017, receiving the title of Miss Universe Israel, and competed at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar was a part of the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, but didn't place. At the pageant, Gandelsman took a picture with Sarah Idan, Miss Universe Iraq in that year. Idan and her family left Iraq in December 2017 after she took a photo with Miss Israel. Miss Israel was also serving in the Israel Defense Forces at that time. Gandelsman, who is Ashkenazi Jewish and immigrated from Brazil in 1992, snapped the photo. [1][2] Her first name, Adar, is a Hebrew calendar month.

Her best-known accomplishment is being the winner of America's Next Top Model's inaugural season in 2003. Curry was America's Next Top Model's initial season. Curry was signed by Wilhelmina Models, New York City. She has modeled for several magazines such as Life & Style, Us Weekly, Star, OK!, Stuff, People, Maxim (and made the Maxim Hot 100 list in 2005), Spanish Marie Claire, Von Dutch, Von Dutch Watches, Salon City, Macy's, Famous Stars and Straps, Lucky, Ed Hardy, Kinis Bikinis, Beverly Hills Choppers, and Merit Diamonds.
